When selecting an air system which is the better choice?

or
In-line maxflo and the like??

I personally use a preset and have never used anything else.

Presets are the only way to go .. back in the good old days when the earth was still forming and mike could still play .. max flows and adjustable regs were best as presets weren't as reliable now presets work just fine ... and they look better and are lighter..

Just ask yourself this "how often will i change the input pressure?" If your answer is never then go a preset.
