What barrels are people running on their Ions? I was looking at a stainless freak kit but want to know what works best. :help: Has anyone used the Psycho adjustable barrel? :armed:

I just ordered a freak kit for my ION. full stainless. should be good to go for the next club day. You can have a go at both stock and upgrade then if you like steve.

Don't you lose out on efficiency & accuracy if your bore is too large? I hear paint to bore match is essential!

Only from the Old Farts.
Yeah u may loose a little effeciency. Problem is paint in Australia generally isnt good and 1 slighly larger ball will bust if you size up balls perfect. Meaning your screwed.
Get an Evil Pipe kit for it

this is a myth...
look at dynasty, etc any fo the good pro teams they all use large bore barrels even when the paint is smaller and none carry squeegies..and they sure are accurate shots.

Has anyone used the all American barell on the ION? How does it fare in comparison to a freak?

what he said, any barrel other than a DYE is sub-par.

14" freak stainless back with .691 insert running zap paint with all american front = happy Dyska. Loving it. Shoots quiet and accurate. Can't say i've tried much else but for an upgrade of stock this certainly kicks ass quite hard. The Q-Lock feed tube for the ION is also an essential upgrade. Grips the hopper nice and hard, no issues getting it on and off. :D
