View Full Version : idea Bill??
May have already been suggested, but thought a different section in the forums called servicing? with step by step instructions to dismantling, cleaning and caretaking of common mid to high end markers might be useful?
Some pointers and tips to these areas might help increase general knowledge and give people directions and troubleshooting with their markers
Just my 2 cents

Bill doesnt have enough band width to accomodate troubleshooting & tech info on cockers

Sounds like a good idea... Guess it would be upto our new Resources mod to keep it clean....
Yeah a bunch of small threads about anything would suck to look through. Just have stickies in catergorised folders specific to make/model. Each sticky could be titled like "strip and service (insert marker name) instructions" or "Adjusting velocity (marker name)...
Sorta like a big manual broken down in chapters for different markers. Might take a while to get going, but good to get the knowledge out...

It's okay... The Cocker thread can take up the Mag bandwidth as well, there's not enough ballers using those dinosaurs to bother with a whole thread...
I thought we already had a thesis on stripping a timmy on this site?
Yes it is a good idea and I would like to have something like this on the site.
Im not sure that a forums setup would be the best solution, but it would be the easiest to get going for now.
If anyone has troubleshooting and setup guides that they can supply I can get something happening for the more popular models like shockers, angels, timmys, mags etc :evil .
(Note: you need to have the copyright permission for this stuff).
I'd be happy to do a strip/cleaning sheet for E1 autocockers, with some pics.... ? Anyone could have input into it once its posted and could be altered or amended until people are satisfied. You dont need copyright for something like that do ya Bill?

You would own copyright because it would be your own work, so that would be fine.
I was thinking more along the lines of some well meaning people just ripping a guide straight off another site without permission.

Get Ryan from Action (Cleggy) to post a sheet on the E-blades.
He knows his stuff when it comes to Autocockers. :respekt:

I think that if you find another site with a guide for a marker, you could post the link here in this new section and therefor will not be ripping it off
Just a thought, coz I think it's a great idea to get a section dedicated to servicing and be marker specific  :respekt:
Definitely would have to make this section NON SPAM
