Ok guys need a little help with settings for the 03 shocker today while throwing a bit of paint at Tom i noticed it was dropping off something severe say every 3-4 shot and yes i no i suck and im a joombie but i stilll couldnt work it out.
Didnt get a chance to ask this arvo had to get back to work u know
I have a feeling its the dwell settings but im just wondering what all u other guys are set at Aggs, Funkster, Hardcore, John and anyone else using a shocker if u guys could help me out at all with the adjusting and so on
Thanks :respekt:
Ah, if you are running the factory settings everything should be dandy.
Id check your max flo and make sure your velocity is correct. When i was playing around with different bolts my reg wasnt turned up high enough and i was getting all kinds of crazy drop off until it was adjusted

So wats the best way to set every thing, how did u get yours sorted to how u wanted it and wat did u adjust or do i once again bug mike and the gang
Thanks Ads :respekt:
I gotta give u that cd 2 my bad :hammer:
Well i now have the original bolt until i get excited and make some changes to the Evolve one.
The standard Shocker settings ( so if you havent played with any of the settings on yours, you will have pretty much the same) worked perfect and the only adjustment ever needed was a slight tweaking of the pressure through the front reg (yours will differ as you have a gass through and your max flo does all the flow control)
At the moment however, i have just thrown the standard bolt in but i am still running the Evolve bolt settings, so i have monster dwell (about 30-35 beeps from bottom) but its working sweet and gas efficiency isnt an issue for me, so i can afford to waste that extra air

Nice i havent touched any of the settings at all i have no idea about what to touch at this stage, but i did miss the first game of the masters due to a dwell setting and being the absolute champion that he is John fixed for me :respekt:  im just wondering y i now have issues
And as for bolt im not sure wat i have :o
Hmmmm, im fairly sure yours is standard, at best you have the SP turbo bolt, but i doubt it.
My guess is that you had something weird set up on your max flow and the pressure to the gun was a little lower than normal. If you chronied your gun today it probably would have been under what you normally shoot.
From what i have seen, once Shockers drop below about 260 FPS they start to get really unstable and begin to have huge variances in FPS, so you will get the same symptoms as FSDO and just have drop off in general.
A lot of this is just my observation and i havent seen a lot so dont take it as gospel, Johnny and his merry men are the best to talk to about these matters
