I hope this is the right spot for this (Bill just move it if its not), The DASH Paintball field will be opened from the 1st of Feb, we have a few things to finish, we already have bookings for the first few weekends so anytime after that is fine at the moment, we are also (like everyone else at the moment) getting our approvals from the council and the firearms so we can give out letters or whatever to our members so they can get there toys licensed.

the web address is www.dashpaintball.com.au

some of the bush pics are from the old field just so I could get the site up again but I will take some new ones this weekend.

Looks really good guys cant wait to play out that way

just one Q

I see you have cleared huge areas of bush, did you have get permission to bulldoze all those trees or dont you have to in that shire.
I ask this as I know a lot of ppl trying to setup fields are hamstrung by CALM and the epa due to the laws concerning clearing of bushland etc.

The property is 140 acres of bush, the small section cleared is 2 acres, you can clear 100 x 100 meters per year if you ave over 100acres, we wont be clearing any more we like the bush (so do corporate players) besides i think 10 000 sqaure meters is enough for two speed ball fields, safe zone and carpark. Its good to see ppl still care about the enviroment.

At the moment we are using Hurricanes but we are purchasing a few Pirannas and a few tippman 98s as well just to see which one will opperate best under WA conditions, as far as paint we can pretty much get any paint you want if you have a preferrance, some paint will affect the cost though. We use all JT Xfires and supply Camos, pretty much like all the other fields do, (I think some of the boys are using thermals, I think we will go that way as well eventually).
