Hey all,
I am buying a Spyder Rodeo, and I was wondering about if I could adjust the trigger so that it is as far back as possible, so that I could get a faster trigger pull. Is possible, and if so, could someone please offer a way of doing it?
cheers, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Easy as pie !
You remove the 2 securing screws at the front and rear of the body that hold it to the grip frame..
The trigger itself has a small adjusting screw ( on the top only ) - just turn this in until it's just sitting against the switch.. and voilah !
If you upgrade the trigger, you can get one's with 3 screws - determines distance, travel and play in the body - a bit more advanced - but only really 5 minutes work if you know what you want..
That's a nice toy for the price, I still love my spyder imagine - the first thing you'll want to do tho is get a new barrel kit.. a mac-dev matchstik set is good.. but get a .689 and you'll be fine - you wont find much paint out there that requires a smaller bore - and aparently going larger is better for egg shaped paint..
If you want it to flow a bit smoother ( and save some air /gas buy not running full crank ) remove the venturi from the bolt - or get one of those anti-chop nylon bolts that are out on the market at the moment - they're about $60- from memory.. once you smooth out the bolt, you shouldnt break a ball during firing - you just need a nice fast hopper..
good luck with your new toy, and remember - post pics !

Cheers guys!
Yeah, I will be posting pics as soon as I get my marker and tank! I can't wait! I'll be shooting like a mad bugger in no time! Hopefully by early to mid feb! Also, I was wondering if I could take off the beavertail/sightrail, and mill the top out a bit like on a timmy or cyborg, and put a cyborg self lubing bolt in it? is that possible??!

well, um.. you wouldnt use a cyborg bolt because it's made for the cyborg..
but you mean a nylon bolt ? or nylatron ? ( I think thats what they call it... )
a self lubricating bolt is available from kingman quite easily.. when you order your toy - ask for a nylon anti chop bolt.
They're not that pricey and a worthwhile upgrade imho for the spyders..
there was a thread about this not so long ago - try doing a search on bills for " Anti chop spyder " I think you'll find what you're looking for..
If you browse the kingman site - there's more than enough info on it to keep you keen for a couple of days..

The spyder rodeo is not a electro.
There are no trigger adjustment screws on it.
It will have the normal trigger pull for a spyder and you cannot adjust it.

ohh yeah, crikey - you're right !
looks like you'll just either need to buy an electro frame - or learn to go without - either way, there's benefits to both types..
Trigger pull distance doesn't matter so much on non-electronic markers anyway.. only when you're running with an electronic frame will you feel the need for trigger tapping..
