setting's on a timmy..

Ok, I know a few of you out there shoot intimidators..

Have any of you come across a " Good combination " of settings - dwell, bip and bolt delay.. ?

I was easily shooting 14 bps, and she was absolutely humming last night - god, it gives you a chubby.. I filled a bucked with paint..
14 doesnt sound fast, but when its constant.. and you can keep it up.. 50psi makes that cylinder last for AGES !

I'll eventually get some of those rufus t dawg training balls for marker setting up.. it'll work out cheaper in the long run..

Anyhow, back to the question..

If you've got a " Magic " setting that works well and lets you shoot nice and quick.. pass it along..

I was working with dwell 5, 5.5 and 6.0 to see the difference
I had a play with the bip and decreased it from 1 to 0.1
and I adjusted the bolt delay from 1000ms to 100ms

There are also option's for debounce etc, but I'll get it humming first - then worry about those later.. :thumbsup:

yeah dont take his advice with the debounce 2 thing. Heres the best option to have a almost tournament legal timmy. Set your trigger as long as possible. Raise M bounce and Debounce to their highest possible position, and pray.

Frenzy = mucho good. I had two of these, nice boards. A bit weird since they're hard to get past 15 bps on the counter. But what counts, and that is true, that the Frenzy exactly reads the pulled BPS, not like a WAS board.

I used to run my Alias Timmys at Dwell 8, BOLT 15, BIP 0.1-0.3 (Reloader B), Debounce 3 MBounce 0. To be honest, some timmys have more bounce, some have less. It's all in the switch I guess.

Ben - the Bob Long frames got released mid this week and are only $159 US (phone orders only at this stage - http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=744284) altho i would say they would be out of stock now as they only had 250. Plus it doesnt void ur warrenty like the critical does and the critical is $250 US.

I cant wait for Tadao - I personally think its the most insane baord i have ever used!!!

Standard settings in my Lasoya with a Halo-B yields scary results!!!

Set your trigger right,ie. for your style,dont let someone else do it.
Get a fast hopper and practice,practice,practice!!!!

Damn cheater boards!! ANY electronic marker can be tweaked to bounce....but your a loser if u do it intentionally!

Fast shooting is a skill that needs time to develop,u gain nothing from cheating.

Dwell: depends on solenoid so a fast alias(red/blk wires) run at 7 or 8 blk/blk:8 blk/grn:12-14
BIP: Depends on the day, change this to a higher value if you are breaking paint. Id start at .5
Bolt: The lower this is the faster your gun. Id recommend starting at 6 then moving up. Most alias's work great at 10. If you got some top of the line shit inside, then you could run 2 like me.
Debounce, and Mbounce.: As low as you can go, because shooting fast is fun.
Eye: Use delay, trust me me buddy on Oakland told me forced is slower.

As long as you don't intend to cheat, which is a bigger no-no in Australia than it appears to be in the US...

I was always lead to believe that forced was faster than delayed, looks like I'm wrong.
