What is street ball ? I assume it is a rougher game where the rules are somewhat lax, but the punishements are worse ?

ok here it is:

Well there are alot of people out there that still dont know what street ball is. For those of you who hear people talking about street ball all the time but have no clue what it is or what they are talking about today is your lucky day.

First i will start off by telling you where it originated from. Street ball was firts played at SC village in so cal(southern cali). It started there and spread all around california later spreading all over the country. You will hear people saying it started out on the east coast or the mid west blah blah blah, well they are just saying that trying to get claiming rights. It all started in so cal.

Now how it started. At the end of the day after practicing there was always a few guys there who didnt pack up and leave with thier teams. Most of them always had extra paint left over from the day and wanted to shoot the rest of it. So all the people that stayed at the end of the day formed into what you would call pick-up teams to play a few games for fun. Well since it was the end of the day and it was just players playing by them selves with no reffs or any thing there was really no one there to enforce game rules. So these games started to become "the dirtiest paintball games ever played". So eventutally cheating became some what acceptable in these games. These games started to be played like this, you could stay on the field for as long as you had paint or as long as you could take all the bonus balling.

Now since these games were just for fun and they didnt really matter players started to do stuff out on the field they wouldnt do in a regular game just to have fun. They would make moves that were just down right crazy that they wouldnt chance in a real game. They started doing "trick" moves and such. Players started working together to make supper agg "trick" moves. So.....you got cheating, really no rules and no one to enforce them, players busting out crazy agg tricks, what dose this remind you of? Basketball style street ball, so thats how this style of ball got its name.

As you can see one player is diving into a bunker while another player grabs onto his ankle and slides in behind him, the diving player kinda pulls the player behind him in. And as you can see the player is shooting as the same time. These are the kind of "tricks" street ball players would pull off.

This style of play was just so fun to play and hardcore that it started spreading around all of california and then all around the country. Now it is a pretty popular style of ball and always fun to play at the end of the day or even to just play all day. Now there are even streetball tornements being held. I have seen a few threads in the regional forums promoting streetball tornements.

Well now you are finally informed of what exsacly street ball is so brush up on them wipeing skills and start playing some streetball.

Yep. All about just messing around, busting moves. Basically its deathmatch style with teams! If hit you "Clean" yourself and keep playing if you dare (willing to accept bonus balls if caught)!

Not really its just messing around wiping and overshooting those you hate! Come one wiping is ok as long as its part of the streetball game and you get to overshoot Deadeye or Aggs!
