they are lighter than the older models they are faster efficiency isnt that good but with a new bolt that would be fixed to a certain degree i would say that they are a better marker overall..but thats just my experience with them

Problem is, not many aftermarket parts. My friend Olli from Team Daredevils (Matrix Guru!) loves his DM4. He has shot LCDs and LEDs before, NYX, Freeflow, Trauma, you name it he had it. But now he is killing muppets with his DM4. He said that it requires less maintenance while delivering the same performance, or even better performance out of the box since the stock DM4 board is very good.

yep when i first got my DM4 i thought i would be changing orings on it left right and centre but i put approx 20cases through it and god knows how may dman has put through it and iam pretty sure that it has the stock orings on it..
You just gotta make sure that you be it it properly every 4 cases of paint or so it also has an unlimited rate of fire with the eyes on so it is super fast

Hey Skip. Nexed have both a trix and dm4. I think both are very similar performance wise. They both shoot pretty fast, are accurate, light, and make very little noise. I reall haven't shot enough paint through mine yet to give any sort of opinion on wear but have put through about a case and a half with no breaks. Dm4 does go through air pretty quick. But playing with that at the moment.

The best thing is that they are really easy to pull apart and clean.

dammit I'm still a noob, one day :)

ben....... what the hell are you talkin about  ;)

I liked the DM4, super light real unique milling style, didn't like the front swept trigger but a lotta guys with the same trigger on timmies say they prefer it that way

hes talking about his NYX matrix that has lots of bounce and ramp that he shot you with while he was wearing lots of padding so the paint would bounce right off him.

The new DM4 is a lighter more efficient Matrix out of the box. Dye wanted to make the spool valve bolt system more simpler than the original Matrix, as there is many parts to disassemble on the original. With the Matrix the key to making it work fantastically is to make sure the o-rings are greased periodically and to make sure they are free of scratches. Ben has got the NYX Matrix and out of the box that thing is very very fast. It has been built from the ground up with the best upgrades in mind. Stock Matrix's are a decent bit cheaper than other markers. You can get a stock matrix to sing but if you spend a bit of money on upgrades you can make it seriously fast. . On a stock Matrix get a Tadao v 5 board for unprecedented speed, for effeciency get a evolve full bolt kit and it will double your amount of shots per tank, then hook yourself up with a evolve vert frame or an OTB vert frame, a mega fast hopper and a barrel kit and you have yourself a kick ass Matrix. But just remember to keep up with regular maintenance and it will do right by you.

90 degree frame...nooooooo, that would make the marker shorter;)

Or just keep the 45 degree gripframe and get yourself a custom products trigger. I am still used to the space frame.
