Strath is an excellent field for comp because they have put a lot of effort into the playing area, rest area and carpark.
Be good to see Scotty Stokes new field which will have air fills, hyperball and sup air field set ups.

Thats a bit of a silly or at least subjective question. It depends on what you mean by best, what you look for in a field, and which field you call "home".
Having said that, Rooeys is still up there with the best alongside a handful of others IMHO in South Australia.

The hyperball there will be good.
The bunker/bridge field is looking pretty damn good too.

iv only played at strath. mostly in the "3-man speedball mania" (came 3rd yyeh)
but you can tell that a lot of work has gone in to the field. full credit goes to the boys and girls down at Skirmish SA :respekt:

I have played on most of the fields in South Aust even JJJ fields when he had 1.
I have seen Strath go thru 4 different owners starting with Matty and u cant say that the team i played with didnt enjoy the gr8 League th@ was happening down there in South Oz. After all we did play out Adelaide for 6 years,& i suppose we did allrite 2!!
Im sure we played a big part in the marker wars between the states.
But as I live in Sydney I thought that was a reasonable question.
Im down there in 3 weeks and wanted 2 get all the old crew out 4 a laugh.
But wanted 2 go somewhere decent.

The hyperball will be cool. Mainly because im gonna help build it. :rolleyes:
The bunker/bridge field is looking pretty good too. He is also keeping the mini-golf there, so if your taking a friend there and dont really wanna watch them :p theres something for you to do.

Maybe comments like that show that your F#&kin dodgey, Garrys field is killa if ya like a harsh scrub environment,in need of a tidy up & makeover, but definetely not dodgey,RESPECT! try showin some looser.

Some of garry's fields are good but they are a bit dodgey and when you go 2 bunker someone you hav 2 dodge the millions of rocks or fallen over barricades. I used 2 ref there. I'm with you when you say it needs a tidyup and makeover (even though he has shower blocks installed now).
I believe Ricky from Severe Aus has started a massive make over plan for the field.

And Gary does have really sick bush fields. Its the oldest SA field site running so a makeover will make it awesome.

Ricky was in WA.
We finished building Scotty & Lawrence's Hyperball field yesterday at Adrenalin Paintball Games. Its absolutely awesome and was set up for 7-man specs.
Toured one of their rec ball fields which includes a massive bridge set up. That should please the rec ballers.
Given its only 30 minutes from the CBD (like taking a taxi in Sydney to the city!) and built on an old amusement park site (stacks of parking and ammentities) this field is going to be awesome.
The other fields are going to be a hyperball style tunnel field; Super Air and a wooden-wheel barricade field. As well the field has lighting so night games and comps can be held there.

I've driven past scotty's field a few times and it looks sic! hopefully there will b plenty of comps there. Even if Garry's field has a makeover, Scotty's will be more fun to play on and safer. Anyway has anyone played Garry's dam or cave fields? They are the best fields at his place.

Damn, I missed it. :hammer: I went there today though. I spent 4 hours shoving dirt under the "laying-down" pipes. Now my chest hurts and coughing slightly causes unpleasant pain. Cant eat too well either...
Oh well! I'll be there early tomorrow to start hacking and shoveling again. :p
I can picture people cutting up all the shade cloth material and tagging all over it. I know some poeple that will probably do that. If worst comes to worst... We have paintball guns and they dont. And I know where they live. :evil

Would have been there to help but had my brother-in-laws wedding...building paintball fields would have been more fun... :D
