Has anyone adjusted their 03-04 shocker with the optimum settings for max fire rate and dwell? if so how many beeps is it from the the bottom setting or is it set perfect straight out of the box?

hmmm watch your velocities.... they suggest 25 dwell ( half way ) but most operate on 30-35 to get the velocities
It will shoot out of the box well..,, but it needs a tweek.
Rof... well adjust to get velocity constant... i noticed on high ROF you can get that sweet spot with Dwell.. but it tends to hog air

I set mine and "jamies amazing gagling death raining stick of fire" up and I found the best settings 6 chirps up on both the ROF and Dwell and a increase of preassure throught the front reg of about 1/8 of a turn or till it his a constant 295 ...
over the crony at in constantly hit eather 294 296 296 or 295 296 297 and didn't drop off under fast firing .. if it does turn your rof down and your preassure down to give it more time to recharge the bolt.

roughly translated 6 chirps up is ~31 dwell
hey _ electro what was the noid pressure?
They say it can be as low as 150psi most seem to be 180-200 psi.

hey Electro - get one of the NDZ ASA adapters with the new SP gauges.
I think Mike has them for $50.
I blew my low (over)pressure springy thing on the maxflo bottle reg .. so i removed the overpressure thingy and simply plugged it.
They say anything higher that 220 is damaging to the noid

Thanks for the plug dude, we have them as verticals ASA as well as with the 15 degree ASA (both with the guage) so you can have your front reg lean forward like am Orracle or backwards like a Karnivor too........ Very cool!!!
