Is there actually a marker that exists that doesnt need to be upgraded after you buy it?

From what ive seen it doesnt matter what you get or how much you spend, there is always an improvement to be made?!

This another one on the "for sale" list??

Looks like it has already had some gear added, is there any difference on the '03 and '04 models??

Intimidators dont need upgrades, they shoot fine out of the box. Everything thats available for them is only cosmetic.

there is the cyborg - fast, efficent and mows right out of the box no extra cash needed.

Yeah cyborg are pretty good to, although a standard clamping feedneck would be cool, hint hint. More importtant though upgrading is the best parts as it allows you to customise your marker so its unique.

Oh dude, how wrong you are.

Bumperless rams, ball bearing carbon fibre triggers, Freak kits, etc.

Totally agree!!.. What ever is your fancy !
Timmy's are great.. but hold onto your wallet if you want a new one.. with all the goodies. You pay for the pretty milling

Cyborgs are great straight out of the case... but there are no "real" commerical 3rd party upgrades yet cos it is still a new marker.

Shocker... well enough said.. not as many upgrades..
03 and 04 are the same.. except colours.,. it is the more expensive ones that have the better bolt kits ( Dynasty ).

Don't buy a cocker then.
Every few months something comes out that you just have to try.

Ben was talking performance wise not cosmetic. Talking about things like bolt kits more than custom triggers.

How good is this forum?! One little question sooooo much response with good info :D

Yeah im leaning more and more towards the Shocker i think, most upgrades other than the bolt seem to just be cosmetic or based on personal preference.

The Cockers seem like they are the Honda Civic of the paintball world with every upgrade in the world imaginable for both asthetics and performance, which seems sweet, but i think it may be better for me to get something a little bit simpler to start with

Cocker = rice.
Bwahahaha.

I think there's custom eye covers for the Borg, and a better feedneck.

From what i have seen the Timmy is the ultimate rice machine

When are you running "Marker Salon 2005" so you can pimp off your toy?! :P

Hardcore

"God of Marker Salon".

"That's a sick bodykit".

You can actually buy aftermarket bodykits for the Timmy.

That I'm not so sure of.
Johnny turned the LPR up, but it was sitting at 110 anyway, the say a Timmy should have the LPR around 85-90.
I really don't want to blow another solenoid.

Is the Dynasty working?

Go the Borg! You dont need any upgrades. Straight out of the box is good enough to go!
If any upgrages would be the claw for the feed neck. But not a must.
Top end performing marker at a lower to mid range price. Cant go wrong.

Uh HUh - you obviously don't use many brands of paint.

DM4's are still a huge slab of metal next to a new Shocker.

Ben's Matrix was a fabulous marker to watch in use, just such a plain ugly thing.

shockers don't need upgrades, though there are quite a few you can do, but you do need part owner ship in an o'ring factory.
Upgrading and piss farting around with settings and different bits and pieces is the third biggest past time of any baller. Right behind playing paintball and talking about paintball. Though those two can sometimes get mixed up. Especially with a lot of the clowns on this site.
