Noob questions

Howdy, im a paintball noob, ive been 3 times now and i have given into the bug and want to buy my own gear and get out regularly for some games.

I have 3 questions that i hope you guys can help with:

1. I think that i will get an Impulse Vision(as much as i want an Angel like ive used at Action) and dont really know what type of bottle/preset/reg yadda yadda i would need to get. From what i have seen the Impulse has its own reg, so if i got a preset 68/4500 would this work?! i think the preset was at about 800PSI or so and i assume that the reg on the Impusle itself will drop this to the low operating pressure the marker uses(?)

2. When i do get all my gear how exactly do you go about getting involved in games/matches or if i can actually develope some skill comps? My local field would be Action(great bunch of guys too :D )

3. Does anyone know the names of the guys who work at Action?! I was going to go down and have a chat with them but i have had a complete mental blank and cant remember the name of the guy who i end up talking to everytime ive been!!

1. yes the inline reg should do it. MaxFlo regs are a bit picky, so you might want to get a 450 psi preset.

2. go to Action on the weekends andshoot the crap out of Shock and SWAT. They'll pick you up if you show interest ;)

Cool, i spent the last few nights up at crazy hours...much like this....trying to find info, downloading marker manuals and reading website after website trying to get basic info!

Yeah now that you mention it, Cheech does ring a bell :P

You dont happen to know if any guys/teams will be at Action this Sunday do you? I'll probably mosey down then.

Come in and see either myself or Mike and you can have a look at all of the guns we have in stock, shoot some and find out what you like. We have a new Am team just started, and if you really want to get onto a team and get into the sport i'm sure they will take you on.
