i'd love a Timmy, just at x2.5 times the price - its not an option.

A Xmag is still on my xmas shopping list.

A TES B is from $430 to $480

Good point about a Timmy .. x4 times then.

But then everyone says you need to mod the TES: rail for the airsystem, new barrel and when you can,, a wizz bang timmy bolt.

Another ? At that price its a lovely loaner.
I am sure you'd get twitchy when someone is using one of your baby's.

Most people wont get a backup marker. Whilst I have the desire and cash I will make sure my team is not disadvantaged with a marker falling over..

Last SAPPA my Maxflo self destructed... just as we were walking on for our last game. Bushy from Bruise Brother's loaned me his 03 Sonic Cocker.
Both my backups - my Cyborg and Raced Sonic were being used by my other team members.

Plus I like to try new markers, so my opinion is based on my experience with the actual marker rather than reading some 15yo's opinion on pbnation or pbreview.

Yeah i am with you on making on your opion, I find it funny that its all the low end markers are getting 10 out of 10 on PBreview, but an high end marker, they are normally 7/10, it seems a bit strange.

Is any one thats going to be at southpacs that can show use who these things go???

Cool

Looks like there are a few interested in the Dragun TESB.
I suppose if we like them at South Pac's we can pay for them immediately and then APG can ship it down to a local dealer.

MIKE / JOHN..

What will the SOUTHPAC special $$ be on the TES's ?
So far i have a price for $430 from a Vic dealer.

Yes I will bring a TES for everyone to have a shoot of, to the South Pacs......

As for specials guys we no longer try to compete with internet bedroom stores......

Yeah mate, just pay a deposit and I will get one in for you......we have 20 Dragun TES in stock in lots of mad colours.

That said, if anyone orders a Dragun TES from us over the South Pacs Weekend and I will give them one of the new Viewloader 9 volt motorised hoppers plus a 20 ounce bottle for $25.00 to make it a set.

So $510.00 for a complete brand new electronic semiauto paintball marker (in fade or full colours) with ported barrel, antichop eye, Co2 tank and a motorised hopper, plus a gun case.
This is limited to the buyers who order (with a $100.00 deposit) over this weekend only.

How about

- A Tes B, a 12v Revie hopper and a drop that will take a normal air tank ?

( From what I have read a standard air tank 68/4500 wont fit the standard supplied drop- as the one supplied is for C02 ).

Hahahaha yeah they helped me out heaps. I swear it was like they read my mind and knew that i wanted to buy a bigger, nastier marker and just needed to hear some good reasons to spend more of the money i dont have :P

Yeah i am on a budget, well not really a budget, mainly impatience, cos the more i have to spend the longer ill need to wait

I think i have done a complete reversal now, instead of going low end and then upgrading later ill probably spend a bit more right off the bat. I'm in two minds though whether to get a new Shocker, or to go a Nightkast(i'm leaning this way). And now the really hard part: if i do go down the cocker road do i just lash out and get the Nightkast(which means waiting longer to get the moulah) or do i buy an Outkast which costs less and is the same bar the Worrblade, and then buy the worrblade later on which means you actually get some extra goodies that dont come with the Nightkast(different bolt and maybe some other stuff), BUT, i am fairly sure that a hole would need to be drilled in the Outkast to fit the Eye....

Hmmmm such decisions, anyways i still have to mosey down to action this Sunday so im sure the guys down there will have a heap more info and stuff for me....as long as the credit card remains in the pocket all will be fine

Hideous
16-08-2004, 12:46 PM
I am sure Mike will tempt you with a Shocker.

Cocker.. love mine since I put the raceframe on it, but its so retro.

TRENT
16-08-2004, 12:55 PM
If going for a cocker i would check the for sale section at Ben's Cocker. Heaps better than a Nightkast and beleive me you wont be disappointed. Ill get a video of it ripping this weekend for you.

AGGS
16-08-2004, 12:56 PM
Yeah before i even had a chat with the boys at Action i was convinced that my ultimate weapon of choice would be a Shocker and i thought that is what they would recommend as well, but they had heaps of good stuff to say about the cockers, especially the E orracle(which they gassed and let me fool around with, and i now regret it cos i want one :P ), so now im a little confused as to what i want, but from what i can tell the Nightkast may be more for me, but they do seem a little more complex from what i can tell. But a Shocker is a Shocker and they look like a fine piece of gear

Yeah that would be sweet if you could get that video, ive already hit him up with some questions about it.

Its pretty tempting cos it looks like it has pretty much the same gear, but i dont know whether i want to go second hand or new, cos for a few hundred more i could get a nice new shiny Nightkast/Shocker...Too many damn options i know too little about :P

TRENT
16-08-2004, 01:04 PM
Ben is a race gun tech im sure, its his job to know how to look after the stuff. Its all custom work and im sure if you where to buy it all new would be looking at $2k+.

There's a Timmy for sale here somewhere.........
I heard the guy that owns it is getting rid of it because he can't shoot it fast enough.
I'd go for the Shocker, if your budget/patience can stretch that far.

AGGS
16-08-2004, 01:37 PM
You know what will happen when the impatience kicks in...Credit card fingers get itchy, and Virgin Credit gets very happy with the interest i start paying them :P

I am fairly sure, at this point, that it will be a shocker or the Nightkast, but im still very open to everyone opinions/facts/comments etc

Camo
16-08-2004, 01:48 PM
shocker for sure, but as the other guys said bens selling a custom cocker from 1280 i think.. which would shit all over the nightkast, theres numerous threads about racegun and i am sure if your nice Ben will be more then happy to answer any questions.

16-08-2004, 04:42 PM
have you looked at the super stocks on the action web site a eblade cocker for around 1200 or 1300 all you would have to do later down the track is maybe upgrade the ram and bolt wich is prop no more than 200 but thats only if you want to hit insane rates . i am thinking about getting a super stock as a back up in case my orricle decides to shit its self five minutes before a game .

AGGS
16-08-2004, 04:46 PM
Yeah i looked at them as well, but i figured if was to go with a cocker i would prolly go all out and get the Nightkast, or if i wanted the cheaper option looking to upgrade later id go the Outkast...or the Shocker :P

Dude, where are you buying your Shocker from????

I believe he's making refference to the custom shockers such as the Dynasty and Nasty shockers. They're are around that price range and higher. Although many other shockers a quite a bit bellow that price range.

Hideous

I think I have seen a $599 US non vision shocker

A Shocker with vision is a $830 US marker.

A Shocker with Vision, and maxflo tank and reg is $1150 US

< next level >

A Dynasty is a $1100 US marker - remember a Cyborg is $980 US retail

A Strange Shocker is $1050

A Heavy Metal Shocker is $1150

A Toxic I think is still $1200

These are 5% US taxed "retail prices". all dealers naturally get better prices.

A $195 US retail TesB is $275.00AU - I am happy to pay $450 here cos of shipping, GST and a reasonable profit margin.
