G'day,

I'm looking to get a new mask, and have set my heart on a proto switch 2004. But before I get to carried away I was wondering what others who have had some experience with the switch thought about them?
Or even recommend another mask… I’m open to options??

thanx

hey dunc.

i have dye invisions, (proto is dye?) and i have no complaints.

i wouldnt think many people have the proto goggs but the invisions would be almost the same thing. (minor differences.)

go for what feels good

I have some IZE and in the 2 years i've had them i've had no problem. I was acctually considering of getting dye invisions, cause of the lower profile and they look sik. I've noticed many people using the vforce profilers but I can't say it would do it for me personally.

go the dyes instead the protos are ugly in the flesh and arent very comfortable, well for my fat head anyway

if its comfort youre after i wouldnt go the dyes. Ive got a pair and so does my mate.
Id set back for a pair of v-force or nearly any jt except the fx10s

ok, in my experience, proteus are the ducks nuts, but that is my opinion... mind you that is after wearing scott's, JT spectras and old 'snappers'.

Cheers for the info.
I've tried on an invision, and it felt good, but a little small on my big block head. I really need a mask for a big head, thats why I was looking at the switch... any suggestions for a mask for a big head??

thanx

Hate to agree with Dead-eye, but the Profilers are sweet for big heads like myself

Tried the Proteus but they gave me headaches, if you can... try before you buy

Action, without a doubt. They have a lot of stock on-hand, so you don't have to wait for the order to get to them first, then get sent to you.

Where can I recall your line "rockin' up the big stuff" from?

Well spotted Hardcore!!

“Rockin up the big stuff”
Used to be one of Merrick and Rosso’s sayings when they were on Triple J a few years back now.

Totally off track..... but it's a pitty they went commercial. I hate the two blokes on the J's in the afternoon now.

Yeah, and then they completely #$@% up my drive home from work by having a current affairs talk show (hack). Keep that sh!t in the middle of the day I reckon.

I promise this thread will be back on track in no time.......... and just to make sure....um.... I have JT Proteus and find em pretty good. Mind you I haven't really tried any other brand beside JT. Had some trouble trying to get a strap for when I'd just like to wear the spectra goggles though. Need to move down south to ski country.
