Hi Peoples,

SAPPA Round 3 will be on the 22nd of August this was changed because it fell on the same weekend as the Skirmish SA 3 Man Tounament, and also gives breathing and wallet space to those attending the South Pac's, Venue TBA

Refferees - Div 1 KAOZ - Div 2 Cyclone (Beware the Evil Chrono Nazi Studio 54) :whip:

SAPPA Round 4 will be held on 21st November, Venue TBA, Reffs TBA

A news letter is in production, in it will be all updated rules and point systems relating to SAPPA. If anyone wishes to contribute to said news letter (Editor will have final say, of course) this includes any business advertising you might think the other members may be interested in, drop me a PM.

Also, my apologies go to Ballistic, a new ruling was bought in just before last touney it states ; The reffing team must field 80% of their REGISTERED team members to receive full points for refereeing. This being the case they get their full 6 points allocated to them. This brings them to 12 points equal first with Enigma. - This was an oversight on my behalf and apologies to all. Thanks to the SAPPA committee bringing this to my attention. :bow:

Are we basically using NPPL rules cause they are pretty extensive and describe penalties for all situations. Just scrape the clear hopper and jersey rules.

Were using the same rules we always have, they are based on the NPPL rules but with a few changes to suit our laws/insurance/style of play. Don't throw away your clear hoppers, at this stage SAPPA has no intention of banning them, nor your new C4 jerseys. The yanks change the rules quite often, must be because the amount of tournament 'ball they play, and as it grows the rules must change with it. I think we have a good rules system and will ammend as thing progress. No need to follow our American friends to the letter.

Cool once there done they just need to be distributed or posted online so everyone knows the rules, especially the reffs. Helps us know whats happening and can follows the rules as after reading NPPL rules there are lots of little things that can help.

Depending on how the feild will be setup will determine how fast the games will go. There should be lots of refs there so we will be able to push the teams through faster with almost no wait between games.
As far as i know it will be held at Skirmish SA (strath) and everyone knows that the wind starts to pick up around now so you better pray that its not windy.

Fallout just "played as a team" exceptionally well that day, as did many others that day.

I did like that style of breakout though.

Not according to two of our guys. The player with the hit on him at the hang was apparently shot within the first minute of the game, and despite some loud yelling at a ref to check his foot, said hit was not checked out. I wonder therefore how many of us he tagged after being eliminated himself? Game changing unobvious hit maybe? Maybe not. Who cares? It's history.
