Hey guys, Im new here (as you are no doubt aware) just writing to say i love paintball but the huge problem i have is i live in Vic. Its so frustrating reading about all the exciting things happening in other states, i just cant believe our laws here. i mean you need a gun license, which is rediculous, and obviously we cant play in any tournies over here. I have played in 1 tournament in S.A. I loved it, we got killed as we are newbs, but it was such a great experience, and a lot of fun.
My dream one day in the long run would to become a Pro paintball player, but the way things are going here, that would be a long way off, and realisticaly i guess i would have to move to another state to acheive that goal.
Anyway i hope one day the laws will change in Vic, cause i know so many people here who love the game as much as i and would play on a regular basis.
Atm, we are playing in Echuca Moama, just over the Vic/Nsw border.
Sorry if this sounds like a complaining post, and thanks for listening guys.
Cheers.

Neil

All is not lost, you can come to the Peninsula Paintball Club in Victoria, near Frankston actually.
Yes you do need a shooters licence but as we are a recognised club we are a valid reason to obtain a class A shooters permit.
Joing fee for the club is only 20 dollars, we play once a month where we pay a 20 dollar field fee to the field owner and buy paint at some of the cheapest prices around (as little as 70 dollars a case of 2000 paintballs).
We have our own compressor for high pressure air and have co2 for filling co2 bottles.
If you want more information please ring me on 0419118045 or email me at ratpak1@bigpond.com and I will assist you where I can.
Our level of experience ranges from new players to hardened tournament "pro" players.
Hope to hear from you soon, Neil Wheatley, vice president Peninsula Paintball Club.

Yeah come down one time, its a great club. I joined last Novemeber and I already am playing tournment ball. Played two SA Tourneys already and about to play 3rd. Club days have a great atmosphere and are just fun speedball games. Some of us however do train for tourneys now on sup-air so come and give it a look.
