Just dont blow anybody up.
Nitro costs a lot more than a couple of new O rings every 6 months.
There is bugger all difference between Air and Nitrogen. (Air is mostly Nitrogen anyhow).
Air is generally cheaper and easier to obtain. ie, air compresser at field.

The only reason Nitrogen is sometimes cosidered better on O rings is because a lot of times the compressors and associated equipment is supplying somewhat dirty air, (the air at most large tourneys I've played has been really good though) and Nitrogen is usually very clean, especially from someone like BOC. When you start getting into high prssure testing though, although you use Nitrogen it is considered a sharp gas and is hard on o rings.

air is quicker easier and cheaper and 70%nitrogen as well I think it is just a wank factor

Nitrogen makes your gun hot, I used it at the world cup in 96 and saw all the automags shoot hot when they came off the field as their power chambers were so hot they were increasing the pressure after the regulator. It was really consistant over the chrony though, only a couple of fps difference.

Yeah but that's only with the Mag Valve that does that. If you chrono a Cocker or other marker after shooting a string of paint, you wouldn't see that.
I know you know it John, just posting it for the other guys that might not know.

Yeah, If you want pure clean air - go get a scuba.. take your own..
Scuba air is breathing quality, no crud in there.. And besides, I havent been to too many fields that supply hpa.. theres 2 I know of in Perth..
All the rest are on a " BYO " basis.. and besides its only $5 for a cylinder fill, u get multi buy discounts.. and a cheaper hydro test if you get it done at the same place all the time..
My cylinder came up this month for hydro - guy at the shop dropped it from $45 to $20 because I am a member of his diving club.. even tho I dont dive, never will and dont intend of taking padi courses..
He knows what I do with my cylinders :)
If Breathing Air is available, why would you bother with nitrogen ?
