West Oz Tourney Series......W.O.T.S.

Hi all

Its finally here...............a 5 man centre flag tournament series for Western Australia.

finally someone has got off there bum and organized a series, Hayden Wilson, KAOS' team treasurer and Gunsmith has put together 4 tournaments throughout the year, 2 on airball fields and 2 on concept drum type fields.

Points throughout the year will be added up with placings being announced at the 4th tournament of the year down at the home of night Airball in WA Outer Limits.

along with the series organized by Hayden, KAOS will be bringing you the famous KAOS CUP, a W.O.T.S. fully sanctioned event.

also to help you all keep up with WOTS ON in your state i will be producing a full colour newsletter periodically, featuring pics, articles, results, points and local goss, whos hot and whos not!

Cmon WA support WOTS, -Paintball Tournaments by players for players.

Yeah, I'm packin up all my gear now - and I'm just freakin out that I will forget something.. probably my marker or my mask !! :)

Got all the essentials to keep my marker working, thankfully I dont need to take my own air - that makes a bit more room in the back cause sean's bummin a lift with me - and has almost as much crap as me ! :)

Should get a " Team Trailer " and load it all in there - and keep it in a secure storage so theres no problems with loosing or forgetting stuffs..

I of course may be totaly wrong in these.

Great day. The setup was totaly kick arse. A big props goes to Hayden, Rob, Stacey and all the WASP crew.


Yeah, second that motion - it was bloody fantastic !
Well set out, ref's were good and fair.. and one of the ref's helped me out heaps when my reg decided to go BANG in my hand and blew the macroline and destroyed the coupling.. ( seriously fricken hurt me hand too - long story )..



There was a hell of alot of good competition, games were awesome. Ranging from me shooting 10 balls to using all my god damn paint..

Some games were like that eh !, I dumped like 4 pods holding down someone in the second last game - it was a 1 on 1... my fingers were seriously happy..
He was hiding in the " A " in the ZAP - but he managed ( in the exchange ) to put one on my hopper neck at the outside of the back right can.. spewing bout' that but I atleast had a chance and could see the light in the tunnel..

Not unlike when my marker jammed playing - 15ft from an opposing player who was looking for me.. ( I think it was against kaos blue..) and I had to run around the bunker into the open and oncoming barage of hail and ball fire to unjam the ONLY ball break all day that had shell stoppin the bolt, it stopped a shot coming off that ( again, with me being the last on the field ) cost me dearly.. ended up with me ass over tit and in a jesus pose copping 5 balls to the head and back from everyone left on field once they realised what was going on..

Thanks to my cheer squad who were sitting near where the fallen angels were and saying " Hey man, can you do that again - that was funny "..

I heard a few comments " Hey, check that out - thats a SPYDER ! " - yeah, seriously - ITS A SPYDER.. when I'm out there long enough - I can get quite a rain of fire happening.. and contrary to popular belief about spyders - quite accurately with that mac-dev kit on it..

Hell, I sat back after the day and said " Shit, I had some fun " and it was all well worth it..

Like I said the other day " Dont care if I win, draw or loose - I'm going out for a hoot " and I did !

The guys on my team, well I'm not so sure - they copped a mercyless hammering.. but I know they will be back (* I HOPE *) for the next one - else I'm a free entity lookin for a new team :) j/k

Nah, seriously - the guys have never played sup-air, never even seen a supair field - and had never gone up against the angels and other high end markers spewing paint like assault rifles.. that, coupled with a first tourney saw them shine through in the last couple of games where we managed to get past the whole " Argh, so many balls being fired " attitude.. and we really started to gel as a team in that environment - I hope we can do that for the next tourney, and pickup where we left off..

Maybe next time I will have a borg or something different when I walk out - you know that for 4 games - I was shooting really low at around 210.. couldnt get the velocity up for love or money.. Managed to get my spring up with my reg and voilah 280, 283, 280 - maybe next time Dr. Claw !

man what can i say my first tourney and we came third the amount of paint getting thrown at me was amazing but I loved it I still havn't calmed down

getting 3rd was great especially considering Kelly's IR3 went down and simon was spewing up blood we have all agreed next time to hit the piss the night after and not the night b4 :)

it was hard to stay focused with a raging hangover but its probably what kept me alive cause there was no way i could run to the next barricade with my headache :)


all the games were great even the losses and the flag "tug of wars" were soo funny LOVED IT i'll be there next round

Hey Euk, you and the Go Fast crew actualy played alot better then I was epecting to guys to. You stayed in alot of the games for quite some time and the last game you had against us was a really good one. You had the upper hand for a bit in that game.
You guys really came together at the end of the day. Make sure your boys don't get scared off because it'll be good to see you guys improve over the series.

Also, Flea. When are you posting those pics of yours? I do seem to recall a camera sitting in your hands when we were watching the one on ones.

The team that comes 1st gets 100 points then 2nd place gets 10 points less than that, then 3rd place gets 9 points less than 2nd then 4th place gets 8 points less than 3rd .......................then 7 then 6 then 5 then 4 then 2 and keeping a split of 2 until last place.

the team that refs gets 1st place points.
