G'Day everyone
can any one answer any of the following questions, I have a new Automag RT mechanical with an X valve.

1. Is it worth puting on a electro frame.

2. If so what brand.

3. What sort of round per second could I expect from a electro frame.

Thanks
Original Sin :)

1. YES!!!!!!! Im doing my mag soon.

2. Ive had a go of a couple of Hyperframe (centerflag) ones. There excellent :D Just about everything I have read about them is very positive.
I have read a lot of mixed reports on the Boyaa (or however its spelt). Some good, many not so good.

3. Lots. :evil

Centerflag works really well. About $500. 15bps. Need good hopper.

1. not really, there are a bunch of way better markers out there.

2. I think there's the Centerflag Hyperframe and the Booyah, which is hard to find.

3. the european version was capped at 13 bps.

You've got the mag already so do it, with the x valve atleast you've already got a lvl 10 bolt, you'll need it, the newer hyper frames go up to 20 bps and the mag will do it, no worries, works out as an excellent marker that don't break paint and rips. The Booyah is now made by Mako I think and yes it can be hard to get hold off, though I think I saw one at Action a few months back, and doesn't have the same good reputation as the Hyper frame, though I think Knackers has one sorted. The Booyah frame I saw only went to 15bps too. They can prove to be a bit fiddly when first sorting them out with an X valve but not too bad and they rip once sorted. Don't listen to Ben, a lot of people say the same about cockers but the electo ones I've seen seem to go ok.

Yeah, don't listen to Ben, he sounds like a cocker bigot. Can't trust those bigots...
wait, I hate mags - don't trust Gav, he's a mag bigot, can't trust those bigots...

My personal feelings with all these bolt-ons, if you are really good with your tinkering then have fun, otherwise if you have the cash and are looking for improved performance, you are better off buying something that has been designed or built from the ground up as a high peformance marker and avoid the hassles. Putting your poodle on steriods isn't going to turn it into a doberman.

Well said warpaint, I think it's not worth it, because the money you would spend would make a new marker.
I would save the money and buy something else, as long as you want to part with your mag. If you like it a lot and didn't think about selling it, buy the E grip.
But I have had a lot of markers, and an Automag aswell as an X Mag. And let me tell you, even a stock Cocker is better as a Mag. Just take a look on how much air the Mag uses, that's what I never really liked. Well still, your call, I like Cockers, Matrizes, Timmys and all this fancy stuff, and no electro mags ;)

Definatly go the Hyperframe & buy a fast hopper.
It takes a little bit of time to set them up properly, but when you do they rocket.
