There is a paintball safety course running on Thursday 25th of September.
Course starts at 7pm sharp (get there at 645pm) and costs $30.
It is being held at Melbourne Indoor Paintball, 25 Salmon St. Port Melbourne, 3207.
There is a limited number of places, so you will need to call in advance to save your spot. Call Stuart (me) on (03) 9646 9977 or 1300 PAINTBALL.
In addition to this we have launched www.paintballsafetycourse.com (http://www.paintballsafetycourse.com) which is where you can go to find out all the information relating to paintball safety courses in Victoria.
It also serves as an information resource on all the other areas relating to successfully geting licenses, permits, and paintball markers.
The site has convenient links to all of the forms you will need to complete when applying for those licenses and permits too!
Keep in mind that the information on the site is relevant to the paintball permit/licensing processes in Victoria only.
The site provides a clear schedule on where and when safety courses are running. A list of dates, times and venues will be posted on the website so that locating a course will be easy!
The site is up and running with the support of Melbourne Indoor Paintball (http://www.melbourneindoorpaintball.com.au) who are graciously allowing the use of their venue to run the courses so that they are in a convenient central location.
Hopefully this will make it easier for new players to get into the sport, and get through the maze of information and paperwork.
