Well who wants to go. :bigparty:
Put your name below i have been twice, i think it's great $450 air fare from syd, $40 per night accomodation x 4 nights, entry $140 plus paint and our $ gets more sheep for your buck and stadium paintball.

If January is going to be anything like as good as the last three (and I've got no reason to think otherwise) then you REALLY REALLY do not want to miss the event. :)

Guy's this is just an idea if we get enough players from OZ and we can pick an AUSTRALIAN team and play a picked NEW ZEALAND team and play the best of 3 under lights and have a history making series. I'll supply the big arse trophy.

What do you think

Well I'm going to go to this one. January is a good time to get away from the field. Knowing I haven't got to worry about getting my marker (I still say gun) back because I can borrow one (Thankyou for that). The only thing that remains is wether or not I go with a team or try and worm into one. I want to know where I can try out for the Aussie team, no one can cut oranges and carry water like me.

If you've never been to New Zealand before then you really want to try to go to this, the place is amazing, we stayed at a Hotel in Rotorua where if you walked out the back door of my room there was a bubbling mud pool about 10 metres from the door.

P.S. and if you see Blobby walking off the field give him a couple in the guts, actually keep this in mind for lots of guys over there, but especially Blobby. Trust me you'll thank me later.

Blobby did 4 of them .... I only did one (and I got the dirty rat award - bastards)

Have to say that I didn't see any of Blobbys - did they all come off? Or was it a case of quality over quantity?

Don't see why they should be outlawed in APPL as long as you're using armbands (which is the only true way to check if someone is gone) ... basic rule of thumb for me is the following - if their arm is not up in the air when they're walking - give them two to make sure.

UNREAL NEWS :D :bigparty:
WDP are now supplying 15 cases of paint for the 3 games and with BIG P's great news that MCDEV are supplying now both sets of team tops this will be HUGE.
Also with TV takeing a bigger interest in it than the fantastic 3 minutes of prime time news slot that they gave the ROTARUA VOLCANIC and made CHERYL from the x-presidents and a action segment on TABBY from the jetts house hold names.
It will make the sport shows and news programs back in australia (wide world of sport) UNREAL.
As i write this i am waiting for a call from the APPL if they will saction this so it will go down into Paintball history, which i hope they do with the support that the manufactures are contributing and by the support that the aussie teams that are going over, it gives the aussie teams some good hard training for the up and cumming APPL 04 series they might even use it for the first round of the APPL O4 series.
PLEASE CONSIDER GOING OVER THE KIWI'S WILL HELP US OUT.

well once again i went across the river to take on thoses little new zealanders

welt and mdft also went this time ; i played for bk what a great bunch off blokes was picked up from the airport at 1am by gav thank you very much. Karl also came along for the ride.

All the teams that did turn up made it a very memoriable tournie. The field was the biggest i ever played on which made for lots and lots of paint in the air at any one given moment of the game. Many skillfull moves and many team plans were a must for this field and pete brumby did an awesome job setting it up at the stadium well done pete.

To the bk boys we played some great ball and it was a pleasure playing and meeting you boys and i am spewing i didnt go trout fishing with you but them the breaks of owning a business. We had a bit of bad luck in the finals but thats paintball you should be all proud of yourselves. Well done to mac dev team you played some great ball on the weekend and the deserved the win.

To the young team wolf pack it was great to see you guys trying as hard as you did and the new shirts look great (even if one was mine ha ha ha) keep up the good work guys you will get there in the end.

Paintball Pete and Jill did an outstanding job once again in being head ref in controlling and teaching the refs how too actually ref it was good to see that there was really no incidents which really mattered. Its what we need in the sport is a professional head ref that knows what he is doing and can direct traffic on the field with his refs not be tucked away in little back room somewhere. Well done pete. I hope too see you as head ref around australia and new zealand as you have my support

That was the BEST tourney I have played in....period.

The stadium, field, location and most of all...the people.

What the Naughty Ninja said...
Brendon Charles. Thanks ever so much for the help and support you showed us.
Pete Mumby. You really are the true spirit of New Zealand paintball. Total respect to you and I wish you and Brendon all the best for the future. I hope to catch up again in the near future.
I hear Rd 1 SDAPPA is going to be huge..
Sinny and the boys. Chjeers for the BBQ on Friday night. It was a pleasure beating you twice for our spot. You did make us work very hard for it.
Also, to every KIWI who lent their equipment out to us. thanks so much as with out you, Welt would not have been able to come over and play. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
Thanks to Big Gav N Preach for playing. It was an honour to have you on board.
Speede, pity you left.
Burke.. hanks heaps for playing on Sunday. Couldnt have done it with out you.

The Lasoya was going off!!
The fastest I saw on the LCD was 14bps,I didnt check every game, but on average 12-13bps.I should have bought E2 batteries for my EGG...it seemed to run a bit slow which wouldnt have helped.

Very, very easy to shoot long fast strings and very accurate even with the standard barrel.

W.A.S. Equalizer board v2.7

"Forced" mode with a Z-board HALO would easily achieve 20+ bps.

"Forced" mode means the marker WILL NOT fire until the ball is in place fully. It was recommended to use "Delayed" mode, which times the bolt out for 3/4 of a second or until ball is detected...but this can cause chopping of paint.

Forced is the shit...as long as the loader keeps up!!

I've never shot so much paint,so effectively, until now.

Long live the Chris Lasoya 2k3 Intimidator!!!!
