Hi,
I have recently turned 15, and after playing years of laser tag on the coast with friends I have started to look into skirmish. Personally I like the look of speedball compared to bushball, but both of them look pretty awesome. I live in the sunshine coast and might be heading down to samford on the 15th to play some games. Any advice on how I can get started ect ? Not looking to buy a gun yet or anything (yea my dad will have to own it  ) but I wanna give this a go.
thanx ~ ben

if you have played paintball before come out to the club day on the 15th of this month, we will be able and willing to answer any and all of your questions, if you havent played before still come out on the 15th, but it is recommended that you play a couple of games with the punters before playing with the club guys.
rules are slightly different and bit quicker than a standard punters game

If you call the field at samford (3886 4644), i am sure you can join in on a group of punters for sunday 15th, then you can also walk over to our area and have a chat to us, and have a look at the gear. You will see mostly bushball gear, but a few of the sup air guys usually turn up, so you'll be able to have a look at there stuff also.
Also the 4 play is on sunday 22nd April if you want to view Sup air

welcome to paint ball, i have one word of advice ask questions like there is no tomorrow, try every thing (sup air, bush ball, and speed ball as they all bring out a different personality side and skills), play hard or go home and last but certainly not least HAVE FUN!!!
vizzorz my good friend paint depends on brand+quality=price so the is no definet answer but generally the range from $75-$110 a case

If i want to get into paintball more, especially so I can play air, What would be the best thing for me to do? sign up for the spec ops membership?(samford)
Also If I want to get a marker, What do I need to do, My parents are seperated so will I have to have my mum get her firearms license again?(she has done it before, now expired) But what will have to happen if I need my dad to drive me sometimes, do I need to have my dad get his license again so he can take it with us , (the marker will always be at my mums though.)
Get your mum to ring 3015 7777 this is weapons licensing and they will be able to answer every question you have on paintball markers. The only thing they wont help you with is where to play or if you need spec ops membership to play Air ball...

wow, if its possible that makes life even easier....
though working 7hrs a week as a mcdonalds burger boy doesn't get much cash fast =D
Don't quote me on it but i think it's like $10 a week or a month not sure.
But the idea is that they charge you to make you hurry up and get your **** sorted and take your gun home.

well i dunno how it really works, just not old enough to own my own marker, and with seperated parents it would be hard just one of them having it.
