:armed: How are we all going new to the boards an sayin hello.
Started playin paintball in january an now cant get enough.
In the process of getting kitted up as i type and have my eyes set on a ION EPIPHANY can anyone give me some feedback on what they think of this marker if they can i greatly appreciate :respekt:
My home field is southpark paintball here in Albany WA where i must say the boyz there have been awsome helping me with everything i require particually Garry Tutt captain of Southern Storm team answering every dumb question i could ask as a newbie to the sport so big shout out to him :respekt: :respekt: :beer: Hope to verse your team in the future ha ha har!!

Hey mate -

The epifanny is pretty much a pimped out Ion... The Ion is the best bang for your buck, but if you can stretch your buck a bit further, try for an '06 ego at least... they are fairly cheap now, or look in the for sale threads. A second hand high end marker will be better than a new Ion, but for not much more cash.

Im under the impression the ego's supposed to be the best marker out this year or has all the glossy ads in APM gotten to me ?? :eek:

The trick is to try a few different guns mate - Go to your local field, ask around...

Advice that was given to me by Hardcore and Lardcore was to work out the best gun I could afford, and get it or a better one... Sounds expensive, but my gun will last me ages, whereas I would outgrow an Ion pretty quickly.

Gonna go with the Ion ipiphany and im thinking get a blackheart board for it, use it for awhile then upgrade ( comeon tax back!! ) and keeping it for a spare :armed:

Just taking a guess by the reasearch into it the Ion ipiphany should come with a Freak barrel on it dude I guess they're good barrel cause most the advertisements like to piont that out :thumbsup:

:respekt: Really appreciate the advice :bow: But i think its sleek curves have gotten to me and i like that its made mostly of metal cause i plan to go hard with it so it should be pretty durable, one downside i hear is the Hopper neck holder but that looks easy to fix

I suggest a high end 2nd hand marker... bide your time, there's no rush. You will outgrow the epiphany and the Ion very very quickly... and you'll spend more money upgrading it than you would have spent on a new/2nd hand high end marker with no upgrades.

that and most 2nd hand markers have been upgraded already...
