View Full Version : 3 man tourney in Victoria...13 July!
Guys, we are running a 3 man pot luck tourney at Carrum Downs on the 13th July, start time is 10 am SHARP!
You will need a shooters licence of some sort, if you have a valid interstate shooters licence then you are OK!
Pot luck tournies are simply....turn up, all names go into a hat, 3 names pulled out at a time, that is a team for the day!
Rules are, hopper only, 5 minute time limit, centre flag, chrony on only.
If you want to join in, give me a ring on 0419118045 or 03 59964506, you might be surprised at the level of play at these things, we have run 2 alrady and they are a blast for very little cash...10 dollars entry fee and 15 dollars field fee, most people use half a case of paint or less, basically you can play a tourney for around 65 to 70 dollars!
You dont need to bring a team as you will be split up anyway!

Forgot to mention....all markers used a peninsula paintball club MUST be registered! NO exceptions on this one!
We hope one day to see some interstate players at these events, hope we can get the laws sorted out soon.

The first one of these held at the start of the year was very easy going.....I know of a few people that, threw a game or two, so they would not win the tourny. In the spirit of good fun and introduing new people to the sport.
The last one, I didn't hear anyone say things like that.
This one I'm expecting all out GO from everyone.

Most people who attended would agree that the level of play was quite high, more so than some expected!
Sang Tiens mugging of an entire 3 man team was a highlight....go Sang!:p
Thanks to all who attended/helped, lets do it again before the end of the year?
Thanks also to Hotshots paintball for the first and second prizes (Zap long sleeved t-shirts for first, paintball gloves for second)
Tyddy was there, entertained us all with some circus tumbling acts (he says he tripped...lol:p ) and showed some good play too!

Had a great day....a BIG thanks to Neil and Leigh (take that how ever you like) for getting it all together again.
With the club now getting alot more new people along the level of play has improved dramatically.
No easy games.
Guys with 68tippies are taking it up to everyone with Angles, Shockers etc... and walking away with the points.
The shinny marker of the day goes to TYDDY...ir3 polished...mmm and Dead_Eye's BLUE SPEED looks really nice.
I shot 1000 rounds of ZAP chronic and had no problems with it....... nice and straight and over the chrono 3 ftp differance..doesn't get much better than that.

He told me he bought a game with the new marker! Maybe it got held up with customs.:D
deadeye has game but now he is letting electronics do this for him, he has taken a step down and got an angel (had the best gun already....shocker!).
Maybe we can order some "game" from one of the US suppliers?:D Do customs allow the importation of semi auto "game" or do we only get to play with pump action "game"?

Hope you guys can run another in Mt Gambier...they are always great...only this time we will have to get together and put nametags on so you know who deadeye is!:hammer: lol
Really, you guys should try to make it over to one of our 3 man tourneys, we can organise accomodation and the fees are very small, would not cost you a lot for a great days paintball if you club together and share petrol costs?
Blacky did talk about coming to the last one but didnt end up here....maybe next time?
Some of the Kaos boys might be persuaded to come over, Gary seemed keen on the idea?
Like I said, level of play is quite high and players got 8 preliminary games with some fun games at days end, we have compressed air on site and can supply paint or you can BYO.

Gambier is a good venue, just have to make sure Sup Air is availible (Im lovin it).
SAPPA is still running like normal, Round 3 has been slightly delayed due to lack of field venues though. SHould be early September right?

J, Blacky told me.. so im pretty sure its right. At least round 4 and 3 will be closer together meaning less time craving tourny play.
