This is very bad news for paintballing in WA. Dman and Cheryl were part of the group that got paintballing legalised in WA, now I think it is our turn to do something to help them. Team Blacken will be there any time you need help with anything, I hope others are also willing to help.

Very upset to hear the news Dman and Cheryl, Outerlimits is a great field and The Serpi Classic is a fanastic event. All of us at Team Invasion are keen to lend a hand with whatever needs to be done to get things operational.

Best wishes and hope 2007 brings some better news...

Back in 2000 (31st October to be exact) we had a similar fire at my field, I had just done a deal with a land owner in Sydney to allow me to open a new field in Sydney - I WAS FLYING HIGH with excitement - until I got to the Twin Service Stations on the expressway and noticed a HUGE column of smoke rising from where my field was.....................

At that stage I received a call from the local bushfire brigade in my area, they informed me that my field was on fire -my guts dropped-

I knew the deal in Sydney was going up in smoke right before my eyes, because the plan was to have the Newcastle Field partly fund the setup of the new facility in Sydney,
I arrived just on dark to see the field all but burnt out, I drove all over my playing fields every man made bunker was destroyed, every shadecloth safety area destroyed etc etc.

The next day I started to cancel the advance bookings I had and arranging deposits to be refunded etc..................funny enough though people started arriving at the field with tools and building gear, these people helped me to firstly keep my sanity.............secondly they also helped me to rebuild.

Needless to say the new Sydney site went up in smoke the same time the Newcastle site did, but I still had a site to conduct games on,

I decided to conduct night games for patrons because we had no bush cover or man made barricades in any of our fields that way we could get away with the lack of any cover........we built safety areas first got some lighting plants and started to book night games..............as a matter of fact my wife just informed me we did 242 seperate games in the 6mths after the fire with an average of 31 people per game...........not bad for Newcastle obviously the attraction was playing at night which helped us greatly......they say that the fire at my field which statred on the expressway was started by a cigarette

Dman chin up..... I'm very sure that looking at the posts in this thread you have a very capable group of helpers indeed, you won't need luck in rebuilding the site, so I won't wish it on you, all you will need is money ,time and a little patience.........it looks bad now, but in time it will get better, all the best.................

On Wednesday 27th of December Action Paintball Games new Perth Facility was burnt to the ground by a huge bush fire. Basically everything was lost. All the fields, all our stock in the shop, less guns of course and all our rental gear, goggles, overalls, packs etc was totally lost. It is a sad day for us indeed, and a pretty bad way to end what was a pretty good year.

What does these mean?

Well for starters, it means no games to be played at Action Paintball Games Perth for time being as we have absolutley no fields left.

We are going to rebuild, so we are asking our customers to be patient while we are doing this.

We have decided to go all out and make the rebuild better than ever before, anyone who has been to our Sydney location know what we are capable of. The new facility will be AWESOME.................

Perth will have all the same facilities that make our Sydney location the best facility in the land. As well as all the great new toys like Ions and Shockers.

All new Camos, Goggles etc too. Plus a couple of new Sup'Air fields as well as all new normal fields.

Obviously, Action Paintball Perth will be closed for a couple of months while we rebuild.

For Paintball Shop Perth will be business as usual, since we are sending a ton of more stock over there today to keep all our WA customers happy.

My sympathy goes out to both our Action Paintball Games Directors, Cheryl And Damien for their loss, it is heartbreaking to see your blood sweat and tears totally destroyed, let alone have to go through and pick up all the charred pieces.

Lastly, Action Paintball Games Perth we will be up and running for Round 2 of the 2007 Super Sevens

To all the people giving us there support, a big thank you. Hopefully we can get over this as quick as possible......

Its a sad day for Paintball in WA, but I am sure that Action paintball will rise through the ashes bigger and better than before. Its is sad that people find pleasure in lighting fires that destroy people's homes, business' and sometimes lives..... Good Luck guys for the rebuild, I am sure their are plenty of hands to help you out.

My sincere condolences for your loss.

The worst happens to the best people and you guys are definitely up there.

It is THE best place to play paintball in Perth so lets get behind Damien and Cheryl and let's get it back on the map!

Just let me know when you need some trenches dug up and need barrels rolled out. I'll be there. :)

From the news reports they believe the fire was started by a near by farmer grading a field, so at least it was not started by some mongral out for kicks.
