Another Newbie

Hey all thought i better make a post or two become a member, i am over in W.A and just starting off in paintball, been to plenty of punter days and i have just bought a Ion and im really happy with its performance out of the box i have a few extras for it already :) :) im trying to get as much into the sport as i can as i cant seem to get enough of it always looking for something new for my marker and tips on becoming a better player, so ill see you all round happy posting :)

yeah i got my q lock feedneck as soon as i got my marker as well as a smart parts s rail and a CP asa with purge so i can look after my marker cuz its my baby, ummm i have never played sup air it seems alot faster i like woodsball and i willing to try sup air and getting a team together

Heya, welcome. I'm sorta new as well...not really, been playing heaps over the years just never got myself a gat until recently. I'm "Ion'ing" as well. Was down at the Woodsball at Action Perth last Sunday. You should've come down! It was stinking hot but it was great fun. Keep an eye out on the posts (usually from Logan) for regular Woodsball Meet and Greet and check out Action's forums for posting of what's happening.

Also being from WA remember that on the 7th - 11th December there is four days of paintball at Gravity Games. If you want to see what tourney paintball is all about check it out. Right in the city on the shore of the Swan River at Macallum Park.

I can also highly recommend Wed. Nights at WASP in Canningvale. The next 2 Wednesdays I imagine will be especially interesting with alot of teams training for Gravity.

I was on the other team. We kept on losing...remember? :)
I think we only won a couple. I did plaster a few guys like Ninja Dave on the head. I was the dood shooting the new Ion with the knee and elbow pads. Were you the guy with the red Profilers? Or the guy who dumped his Ion next to mine? You've got the Ion with the clear egg right?

Im in Perth too, and about to start to sort out getting my license for a marker.
Been down to the last couple of woodsball days at action. Enjoyed them but also really enjoyed playing supair at the indoor field at Malaga.

Work wednesday nights atm so cant get down to check out WASP - but will come down to watch gravity games for sure. Whats the comp at xtreme malaga like? Worth having a go in at until i get my own marker?

yep correct smoke egg and red profiler lol i dont remember you but i have played paintball for a while know so i thought it was about time to get into it bigtime! yeah ninja dave is funny he was on my team! he would have been so so so so hot lol, yeah i might go check out gravity games hey does it lay on sunday???? im off on sundays

Well, don't hold your breath coz you don't just get your license straight after the cooling period runs out. You've still got to jump through all the hoops first and then wait for Firearms to process it. Have you sat the test and got your safe and all that stuff sorted?

BTW, I spoke to you on the way out to the field in the arvo sessions. You shot me on the right arm remember? I told you it was a nice shot from way back. You must have jagged it...Anyway I just ran out of air and balls so it was time for me to pack up.

lol yeah i know i dont get my license straight away haha i got to get permit and all that stuff yet! i got the longest part out of the way so its all done pretty much, yep safe is in police man come checked it its all good (ofcorse it is) and i have sat the test and passed it :) so should be much longer! i remember we shook hands hey? i cant remember your name but we were walking out to the blue drum field hey? I GOT GOGGED BAD IN THAT GAME as soon as the game started i hit some barrels on the far left trying to get the line covered then bang out of no were left side of my goggs i was like aww damn im have 400 rounds to use lol so i wasted my hopper on a tree that i didnt like :) lol
