Hi

I will go from Panama to Australia to study for six months. In Panama is very easy to own a paintball gun you dont need any permit and there is no minimun age. I have travelled before with my marker to Orlando for the World Cup and it was very easy becuse they knew that many peapole were coming to play paintball there. I wanted to know what I have to do to take my tank and paintball gun to Australia. During my time in Australia I will stay at Sydney.

Thanks for your help

Tank will probably not be covered by Workcover here mate.
Gun will need a B709a to bring in, and will cost upwards of $300 to process and bring in.

You need a licence for a paintball gun here. You need to be 16+ to play 18+ to apply for a licence to buy your own gun. Licence takes around 2+ months to get.

For 6 months i dont think its worth brining the gun. Cheaper to hire..

You should be able to apply for a overseas competitors permit which cost $75 and also a B709 to bring your marker in. You will have to be very specific with where you will store and use your marker. If you go through this process you MUST take your gun back out of the country when you leave.

JJJ is right, best idea is for you to email dale@actionpaintball.com.au and he will put you in the right direction.
